Oregon-Specific CCW Information
Oregon passed HB 2005 (2022) requiring a background check for all firearm transfers and Measure 114 (2022) requiring a permit-to-purchase for new firearms — both have faced legal challenges. The CHL itself remains a shall-issue county sheriff program. Non-resident CHL available at the same $65 fee.
